5 Mac nude lipsticks. Swatches and comparisons

Hi everyone!

A nice nude lipstick is something every girl needs in her makeup bag. I do have quite a lot of nude lipsticks but I thought I would do a post on these 5 Mac ones I have. Let me know in the comments what your favourite nude lipstick is :)
From left to right: Myth, Yash, Honey Love, Hue and Half N Half.

Myth is probably one of Macs most popular nude lipsticks. Myth is a light neutral shade with a satin finish. It is actually a little too pale for me and if I am very tanned I do not tend to go for this lipstick simply because it can look a little 'concealer lips.' On my paler clients though this is a gorgeous nude colour and looks even better with a nice nude gloss over the top. I do find it a little drying so ensure your lips are perfectly exfoiliated and moisturised before use.

Yash is a gorgeous matte nude colour originally brought out as limited edition for a bollywood makeup artist, therefore designed for darker/more Indian skin tones. Yash is the nude lipstick I reach too most. Although this is matte I do not find it to be drying at all and I get around 3-4 hours wear out of it before needing to reapply.

Honey Love is another matte nude shade, with a slight pink undertone. Again I dont find this at all drying considering it has a matte finish. I think honey love is a nude lipstick that would suit all skin tones. Overall I like this lipstick as it is so easy to wear, definately an everyday kinda lipstick.

Hue is a gorgeous coral nude colour in a glaze finish. Hue is one of those lipsticks which you do not even need a mirror to apply it which is what I love. The colour is alot more sheer than all the other lipsticks with it being a glaze and as most people have said before it gives you the 'your lips but better' look. I reach for this lipstick quite alot, and is definately a 'lazy day' kind of lipstick.

Half N Half is an amplified liptick in a neautral browny pink. Its not that much different from Yash to be honest. Goes on nicely although only lasts around 1-2 hours before another application is needed. Overall a nice nude liptick that suits most skin tones.

I hope this post was helpful for anyone looking for a new nude to purchase!
