For Christmas I had quite a few palettes on my wishlist. I honestly think you can never have enough palettes and I am so happy with the ones I received as gifts.
Anastasia Self Made Palette
This went straight on my Pinterest wishlist as soon as it was released and my sister generously got it for me. As you might beable to tell from the photo I am obsessed with the first shade in the palette called 'pink champagne' which is gorgeous shimmery metallic pink. I also love the bright greeny-blue shade called 'Isla' and it also has some really wearable shades too.
Zoeva En Taupe palette
I already own another Zoeva palette called the 'Naturally yours' palette and I love it! This one was a gift off my lovely makeup artist and blogger friend Jasmina. The pigmentation of the shadows is so good for the price and I love the sleek slim packaging. This palette has some gorgeous matte taupe (obviously) shades with a hint of purple in there too.
Nars Steven Klein palette
I was lacking some blushers in my makeup collection and I had also had ran out of my Nars Laguna bronzer a long time ago which I never got round to repurchasing so when I saw this palette I knew I needed it. This has 4 gorgeous blushers, a matte highlight shade, a contour powder and the Laguna bronzer. An ideal palette for travelling.
Illamasqua complement palette
I first saw this when in Liverpool doing some makeup shopping with my friend Jasmina but decided not to buy it at the time. This was a present off my boyfriend and what mainly attracted me to this palette was the one cream eyeshadow in it which I thought was good for an all over lid colour or as a base for the other eyeshadows when doing a darker look. The light highlight shade is gorgeous and so pigmented and I love the 2 purple shades, one which is matte and a perfect crease colour.
Stila eyes are the window in Spirit
This palette was a lovely surprise off my friend Jasmina again. I have always wanted one of these palettes, I think theres quite a few variations of them but Jasmina chose the perfect one. It has some beautiful light wearable shades, a stunning peachy colour which I cant wait to try and a few dark shades too for a smokey look.
The Balm meet Matt(e) nude palette
I have been obsessing over The Balm for ages but its only recently that it had become a lot more accessible in the UK, with stands cropping up in Superdrug and more recently a few Topshop stores! I only own one thing from The Balm which is the famous Mary-loumanizer highlighter, which I love. My boyfriend surprised me with this and I was SO excited. As the name suggests these are all matte shades which I love and theres is a good mix of warm browns and some cool grey tones.
Expect some reviews and makeup looks coming soon with some of these! Which palette is your favourite?
